Wynn Resorts wants to grow its Encore Boston Harbor casino in Everett. It is one of the biggest gambling companies in the United States. If everything goes as planned, the new venue may have more places to play poker and bet on sports. Even so, these plans still need to be approved by the government.

Wynn will add new buildings to Encore Boston Harbor to make it bigger.

Wynn Resorts wants to build two hotels with ballrooms, three parking garages, places to eat and have fun, a poker room, and a sportsbook on the land it owns across Broadway from its Encore Boston Harbor casino.

Right now, cars are parked in the area in question. But Wynn may soon change things if the Massachusetts Gaming Commission agrees with what it wants to do. The gambling company has gotten the first part of the project approved by Everett’s planning board. The city council is also likely to vote today on the zoning change and whether or not to let new gambling facilities be built.

In the first step of its plan to grow, Wynn would build a place with a poker room, a sports bar, a nightclub, a day club, a big theater, and a comedy club. The location would also have a parking garage with room for 2,100 cars. Wynn plans to build a bridge over Broadway that will connect the new buildings to the main casino.

If everything goes as planned, Wynn’s expansion would lead to the creation of about 800 new jobs.

The operator wants to use its sports betting license to make money.
A few months ago, Massachusetts made it legal to bet on sports and to bet on sports online in the state. In fact, Wynn was the first business in the Bay State to get an official license to take sports bets. The company would use the new venue to make the most of its new license.

Big Night Entertainment Group would run the parts of the new building that don’t have to do with gambling. The company might move the Memoire nightclub into the new building and use it to give better experiences to visitors. In an interview, Big Night partner Ed Kane said that he liked the way the new building looked. He thinks that the new location is going to be amazing.

Wynn has already made plans for the next step.

During the second part of the project, Wynn would build two hotels. The first would have about 500 rooms, and the second would have about 300. Wynn expects to make millions of dollars a year when the whole project is done. Also, the new facilities would pay millions of dollars in local taxes, which would help the local economy.
