The focus of the brands’ partnership is to bring Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) to the land-based market in the country. In fact, Reflex Gaming will use Yggdrasil’s GEMs to bring them to betting shops, pubs, arcades, and other places where people can have fun in the UK.

Reflex Gaming is also not a random choice for a partner, as Yggdrasil and the company have worked together since 2020 as part of the YG Masters program. With Reflex Gaming’s help, 11 online games that are part of the program have been released, and many of them use GEMs.

Moreover, Desperate Dawgs 2 and Dublin Up DoubleMax are two of the most well-known games that the pair has worked on together. Gigablox, Splitz, DoubleMax, WildFight, and DuoMax are just a few of the other games that Yggdrasil has made that use GEMs. The new partnership is very important because it lets Yggdrasil bring GEMs to the land-based sector.

The two partnerships have made each other stronger, and the synergistic effects of the two can make the overall casino offer that the two now bring to the table much bigger and better. Stuart McCarthy, who is in charge of products and programs at Yggdrasil, was excited about the chance. In addition, he said that strengthening the partnership with Reflex Gaming to bring the GEMs to land-based casinos was a big step for his company. He added:

We’ve already had a lot of success together, putting out a number of well-received online games, so we’re excited to bring this to the retail market.
