The uncoordinated crooks were too scared or inept to take charge. They left on a moped.

A lottery agency in a Marambaia supermarket was robbed. Since the master heist before Christmas, police have been investigating, but they won’t say how much was stolen.

Belém residents collected the robbers’ lost money in a viral video. The recording shows people scrambling for cash. The street money vanished in seconds.

In Portuguese, one person tweeted, “It’s raining money in Belém! After robbing a lottery shop in Marambaia, suspects dropped money, and the locals took advantage.

Although they have no leads, police are investigating the attempted robbery. Three Brazilians riding mopeds won’t help, but the videos should.

Chile experienced something similar. Thieves robbed a gambling hall in a blue sedan in October. However, police pursued them immediately.

The thieves threw money from the car to stop the chase. That partially slowed law enforcement, which trapped the car and arrested six people.

Marambaia’s Bad Month

Marambaia businesses suffered in December as thieves ignored Brazil’s World Cup status. On December 2, criminals attacked a bar as Brazil lost the World Cup to Cameroon.

Security footage shows two armed robbers stealing jewelry, cell phones, and money from customers. A customer was shot by a thief. He then ordered the victim to take off his Brazil shirt.

The thieves fled on a motorcycle, but they left it on a nearby street minutes later. Police are searching for the suspects.
