A player at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas wins almost $500,000 and retires as a rodeo clown.

On Thursday, a rodeo clown who was leaving his job won almost $500,000 at the Horseshoe Las Vegas casino. It was the first big jackpot at the casino, which had just changed its name.

Jeff Reeves of Cortez, Colorado, won $499,763 while playing Three Card Poker. He got a full house of hearts at a casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

At the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, he was a clown. His last day in Las Vegas was Thursday.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2022 took place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas from December 1-10.

Reeves said that if he wins the jackpot, he will enjoy his retirement. Reeves has signed up for Lucky Caesars Rewards.

The Horseshoe has a casino that is almost 70,000 square feet and has more than 1,500 slot machines. Almost every room for guests has been redone in the last four years.

The Horseshoe Las Vegas is owned by the company Caesars Entertainment.

Previous Wins

Caesars Entertainment has said that other jackpots have been won recently at its Las Vegas casinos.

On Monday, for example, Caesars Palace said that two people who played video poker won jackpots in the six-figure range.

With a royal flush of spades, one lucky player won $400,000. Another player won a $103,125 draw poker jackpot.

Both of them are members of Caesars Rewards.

Two other people at Caesars Palace won $100,000 each earlier this month. One was playing a slot machine, while the other was playing video poker and won when he got a royal flush.

Each of these winners is also a member of Caesars Rewards. Caesars Entertainment is in charge of running Caesars Place.

Jackpot in Atlantic City

A player recently won almost $1.7 million at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, by betting $5 on progressive poker.

The winner, a woman from Monmouth County, New Jersey, who has been a customer for a long time, won $1,681,458.40.

The win is the biggest jackpot ever on a progressive poker game at a Caesars Entertainment property in Atlantic City.

Casino workers said that the woman gave her dealers a tip of $77K. That’s a tip of 4.5%.

Horseshoe Las Vegas Casino Rebranding

Before December 15, the Horseshoe Las Vegas was called Bally’s Las Vegas.

Caesars Entertainment said earlier this year that the well-known casino resort would be called the Horseshoe.

Caesars sold the Bally’s brand to a company that used to be called Twin River Worldwide Holdings (TRWH) for $20 million about two years ago. TRWH bought Bally’s Atlantic City before that.

Under the terms of the deal, the buyer gives Caesars a license to use the Bally’s name in Las Vegas for as long as they want.
